10th Life Mobile Veterinarian's Response to COVID-19

As we've been monitoring the rapidly changing nature of COVID-19, we want you to know that we are doing our best to navigate this situation. Together, as a community, we are facing trying times and the current pandemic is affecting all of us. We wanted to reach out with an update on how we are doing our best to support the health and safety of both you and our team.

First, we give our loving thoughts to anyone who has been impacted by the virus.

We have implemented the following policies and precautions:

POLICIES

  • We never run vaccine clinics or place ourselves in a situation where groups of people come to our mobile unit
  • In addition to frequent hand washing, our policy has always been to clean and disinfect our treatment area in between appointments. We are now disinfecting door handles and other "hot spots" between appointments.

For high-risk clients:

  • You may be advised to place the secured carrier on your front porch for us once we arrive in order to maintain the recommended social distance. We will call you once the examination is done.
  • Please let us know your personal concerns when scheduling the appointment so we can determine the best way to proceed.

Did you know....?

  • You can always text (727-577-5200) or email (catcare@cathospitaltampabay.com) pictures or videos if you are uncertain whether symptoms warrant a visit.
  • Most prescription (and OTC) food, medications, and preventions can be ordered through our online pharmacy and shipped directly to you! The website is cathospitaltampabay.vetsfirstchoice.com or you can call them directly at 888-606-3336. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you are interested in having your cat's prescriptions switched over.

We will continue to monitor and adhere to local and state guidelines, and will do our best to keep you informed as it pertains to veterinary care. We also regularly update our Facebook page so follow us for updates!
